Jupiter Meta Data Token (JMDT) is the native utility token of the Jupiter Meta Data blockchain ecosystem, a multi-layer network designed for decentralized identity, verifiable data, and enterprise applications. The protocol combines a high-throughput Layer 3 Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) for application-specific data processing with a Layer 2 execution environment that utilizes zero-knowledge technology, while settling transaction state on Ethereum.

The network is secured by Asynchronous Validation Consensus (AVC), which uses verifiable random function (VRF)-based validator selection to achieve deterministic finality without traditional mining. Finalized transaction records are maintained in an append-only audit ledger, providing a verifiable history of network activity.

JMDT supports W3C Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs), enabling users and organizations to verify identities and credentials while minimizing the exposure of sensitive personal information on-chain. The ecosystem includes applications such as SuperJ for digital identity and Hercules for enterprise data and research workflows.
